Litchfield County restaurant Yoko Kitchen is located at 254 Danbury Road in New Milford.

The owners report that the restaurant's menu focuses on a modern interpretation of classic dishes using high-quality ingredients.

Some dishes on the menu include lobster rolls, chicken fried rice, curry seafood, yaki ramen, along with a variety of boiled seafood dishes. Find the full menu on the restaurant's website.

Some online reviewers have praised the fact that certain meals are served in a metal shovel, creating a unique dining experience.

"With the weather opening up, my wife and I went on a motorcycle ride," Laks N., of Danbury, said in a Yelp review. "Yoko Kitchen is well placed and is at a nice spot. I ordered scallops from the seafood lunch section. With Cajun Garlic sauce. The food was excellent. The waitress was very helpful in pointing out the dishes. The shovel they serve it in was unique, like the experience itself. Great spot!"

Others also praised the eatery's large portion sizes and the quality of the seafood boils.

"We ordered half pounds of pretty much everything in the seafood boil and chose the spicy mala sauce... Delicious!" Lisa Y., of Bridgeport, wrote in a Yelp review. "They provided you a bucket for shells, bibs and gloves and we digged in! The boil came with sausage, corn and potatoes and we added a side of noodles also. Everything was cooked deliciously and good size portions for the price. My parents were definitely impressed as well. It made a good Father's Day lunch."
